Returns Policy

 

What can be returned

  • Unwanted or incorrect-size items must be un-used, and returned with any original tags, packaging and any accessories (where applicable).
  • We cannot accept returns for customised items (for example, custom-built parts), or for items that have been usded or installed, mistreated or misused.

Return options

  • For approved unwanted returns you may choose an exchange, store credit, or a full refund (shipping costs deducted where applicable).
  • Unwanted items must be returned within 60 days of the delivery date.
  • If you ordered the wrong size or part, exchanges may be offered subject to stock availability; additional shipping charges may apply.

How to return items

  • Returns can be made in person at our location (see our website for address) or mailed to:

  • If your item is unused and in new condition you may post it back without prior contact. Include your original invoice and a note stating whether you want a refund, exchange or store credit. Use the original box and packing where possible.

Who pays for return shipping

  • My Scooter Parts will cover return shipping when:
    • The product is faulty under the product warranty, or
    • You received an incorrect item or an item materially different from its listing. In these cases we will email a return shipping label.
  • If the return is not due to a manufacturer fault, the customer is responsible for return postage. We recommend using a tracked service (e.g., your national postal service or a reliable courier).
  • Returns will not be covered by My Scooter Parts for reasons including: change of mind, incorrect size ordered, item does not fit, or minor cosmetic marks consistent with normal manufacture/handling.

Warranty

  • Warranty applies to the original purchaser only. All warranty claims will be inspected and assessed by us or the supplier to determine if the issue is a manufacturing fault.
  • To make a warranty claim, email support@myscooterparts.com.au with proof of purchase and clear photos of the defect. 

Electric products — specialised warranty information

  • Electrical items (chargers, batteries, etc) include a 12-month parts warranty covering replacement parts and postage for those parts to you. Return shipping of the full item is not covered; installation of parts is the customer’s responsibility unless you return the item to us at your cost. 
  • For safety reasons, warranty for electric scooter/skateboard electrical components is valid only if installation or repairs are performed by an approved service technician or service centre. Contact us for authorised service guidance.

Refunds, credits and fees

  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take 1–10 business days to process depending on the bank.
  • Original shipping charges will be deducted from refunds. This deduction is waived if you choose store credit instead.
  • Electric parts and accessories may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Unclaimed orders (returned to sender) will incur a redelivery fee to resend.
